Screening

Effective screening of traffic quality across publishers allows networks to choose appropriate partners for their advertiser clients. Networks can eliminate poor-performing publishers and recruit only the highest performing partners who deliver the best performing traffic.

In order to quickly identify the highest-performing publishers, Click Forensics for Ad Networks produces an individualized Site Score for each. Ad networks can gather data and scores for existing publishers in their network or apply a test before signing new publisher partners.

Site score: each downstream publisher site is given a three-digit score based on the quality of traffic delivered. Site scoring attributes are configurable by the ad network.

By culling poor performing publishers from their network, ad networks can improve the overall quality of traffic being delivered to advertisers and also improve the quality scores they receive from ad providers (search engines). Increased quality scores lead to higher commissions from ad providers.
