Following Successful Launch with Yahoo!, FACTr Now Supports Google, MIVA and LookSmart AUSTIN, Texas – October 9, 2008 – Click Forensics™, Inc., the industry leader in scoring, auditing, and improving traffic quality for the online advertising community, today announced that it will now submit electronic third-party Pay Per Click quality reports to Google, MIVA and LookSmart on behalf of advertisers using the Click Forensics FACTr™ service. The FACTr service, which stands for Fully Automated Click Tracking Reconciliation, enables advertisers to submit invalid traffic and click fraud evidence reports automatically to search providers and content networks in order to speed account reconciliation and credit request investigations. Yahoo! was the first search provider to begin accepting FACTr reports back in July following a six month pilot. “LookSmart has long been committed to search traffic quality, and to being a smart choice for search advertisers,” said Jonathan Ewert, general manger of advertiser networks at LookSmart. “Since 2004, when we co-founded an industry panel to develop standards and practices for improving search traffic quality, LookSmart has continuously improved the quality of our network. We have developed proven tools, techniques, and technologies to filter automated clicks from advertiser invoices, and now see Click Forensics FACTr as an important improvement to provide assurance of the high-quality traffic we already deliver to advertisers.” “We believe that FACTr reports will help build on our existing traffic quality processes and improve ROI for participating advertisers,” said S. Brian Mukherjee, SVP & Group Managing Director, of MIVA. Using patent-pending analytics and live campaign data from the Click Fraud Network™, Click Forensics identifies click fraud and poor quality traffic. The new FACTr capability provides advertisers with an automated way to submit evidence reports on suspect traffic electronically to search providers. Advertisers and search providers can use these reports to filter out sources of poor quality traffic before they affect campaigns. Similar to a spam filter, Click Forensics delivers regular updates on new sites and sources perpetrating click fraud or those sending bad traffic to clients and members. “We’re delighted to add support for more leading search advertising companies on FACTr in order to make it easier for advertisers to ensure they get what they pay for,” said Tom Cuthbert, President of Click Forensics. “Search advertising providers are finding that working with third-parties not only builds greater trust with clients but it also translates into more dollars spent on search campaigns.” For more information on Click Forensics for Advertisers and its new FACTr feature, visit www.clickforensics.com.
